Help needed, headed to TX from LA

Hello there. I am looking for one or two experienced boaters to help me motor my 45 ft sailboat from New Orleans, LA to Seabrook, TX. Trip will be through ICW and will take about 6 days due to anchoring at night. Please PM me if interested or need to inquire about more details.

Where do you propose to anchor? Slim pickings
along that section of coast.

I've done that ICW trip and we had a spot to anchor every night.

Can't go with you however that is an easy trip with places to tie up for overnight. I did it three years ago Baltimore to Rockport TX single handed. Get a copy of Skipper Bob Publications Cruising the Gulf Coast. "Cruising the Gulf Coast on the (GIWW) from Brownsville, TX to Flamingo, FL.). It's no big deal if you have this publication and yes it would be crazy to do it at night.

Done that trip a few times myself. Don't settle in for the night on any turns in the ditch or the push boats clipping the prefered sides will get you. That can get bad real quick..

Hi, Rdanner, it would be interesting to talk to you about this, but I have no experience in this forum, or how to contact you directly.
