Cruising in the Seychelles

My wife and I are in Gan in the South Maldives about to take off for the Seychelles. Anyone have any current info? Reading their website, it talks about providing a full list of "stores". We as a normal cruising boat have probably more "stores" than most of the stores we have been in. Do they really require the list?
Any other info would be appreciated.

Hi I will be sailing to the Seychelles from Greece in a few months a first time voyage through the Suez and red Sea. Any information toward ensuring the 6 week voyage goes smoothly would be most welcome.

Signed up to the topic, since I am also interested in this route. Heard that the pirate nest in Eyl is cleared now and no real incidents were reported around the hirn if Africa in the past two years.

Hi Peter, that's a loong way ahead, in the next 3 years I am 100% sure that I wont have more than 4 free weeks in a row. Although one can always dream/plan for longer term.

Im also interested in this route as an alternative to the altlantic/pacific back home to perth so will follow too
