Best Marina for our needs in Puerto Vallarta?

We are landlocked in Arizona and own a fun trailer-sailer for now. We have a firm plan to move to Mexico in 2021 and live in Puerto Vallarta for a while. The sea and the jungle collide in pleasant tourist spot, with quick airline access. What could be better? ;-)

This isn't pipe dream stuff, we've been working the plan since 2017 and it will take two more to get our ducks in a row. 'We are gonna need a bigger boat!'

It looks like the Marina at La Cruz de Huanacaxtle, appears to be the most appealing, we were thinking of living near there.

Any insights? Thanks in advance.

The name escapes me but there is another marina between La Cruz and downtown PV. A nice big one. Not sure if the down town marina is still alive but it was a dump.

Paradise Village is my favorite there,,,LaCruz has a lot going for the location but management is letting it get run down.
