sailboat in disputed islands

I read in the wall street journal(Japan-aug.5 2013) that "Mysterious yacht kicks off busy august for disputed islands" and I also saw a photo of a 30-40 ft monohull sailboat flying a chinese flag w/british registration..A while back ,(year or more) a fellow on CF sent me a email asking about the south china sea and the southern islands of Japan ,I sent a few emails to him and that was that..He told me and others on Cruisers Forum that he intended to sail this area..I think the fellow in the Wall St. Journal article is the chap in the sailboat that was on Cruisers Forum..I would provide links to the article but , I am one of the ones(few) that do not yet know how to do such things,if someone would do it for me I would be obliged to, thank you ..
