Mainsail purchase frustration

It's really frustrating. I spent hundreds of dollars on a new off the rack mainsail from a vendor. Clearly states they will provide all necessary hardware. They just needed to know whether slugs or slides. I told them I have 5/8 external slides.

Sail arrives and I'm all excited. NO HARDWARE!!! I calls em and they admit to the mistake and say they will ship them out. Okay.

A week goes by, brand new mainsail sitting in the cabin. Hardware arrives. WRONG sized d-shackles. Mind you it's THEIR sail I bought. They should know what size shackles fit. In this case, the length of the shackles they sent me are 3/4", that would be too tight, as the distance from the edge of the sail's luff to the edge of the grommet alone is 3/4". The distance from the luff to the grommet diameter is 1". Sail slides attached with shackles are suppose to be free moving, not jammed tight against the edge of the sail.

Gonna ask for a refund and use another vender.

We all have bad days. My guess is someone let the apprentice do the packing
