Khensu & Dorian

I'll warn you right now there is no real point to this post just venting and looking for a hug... some of you may remember my incessant stupid questions that may have sometimes sounded a but 'sailing wannabe' and thats because they were. But i did eventually get there. Starting January this year i purchased my small boat and quickly renovated it to a livable standard and learned to sail. i made it around the Bahamas and down to Luperon DR, i had a great time single handing from island to island, you know living having fun, escaping death. Then i hoped on another boat and crossed the Atlantic to Spain via Bermuda (Beermuda) and the Azores. problem is my boat was left in Abaco AYS and got beaten up a little. now as well as paying storage for a extra year without sailing plus visiting and repairing it's going to cost a sh1t ton of money. i knew boats were expensive but this is a nightmare. still like sailing and i do plan to take my small boat over the Atlantic single handed in 2021. vent over... any negative comments will result in me getting the voodoo dolls out and sending bad karma

just wonder who else was hit in that part of the world.

p.s. i'm taking a 40' boat over from Nassau on the 19th if anyone needs a lift or somewhere to stay.

Love Steven (Khensu)

Boats are pricey toys. Glad yours got through Dorian OK though, and that you’re out sailing, even if not on your own boat. Others were obviously not as lucky.
