Re: Human presence

Not a believer in the supernatural........................... Except Zombies.

I do hear what sounds like footsteps in the boat sometimes, I ignore them now but was convinced the first time that someone was on the boat. Must be a particular wave pattern on the hull. I would wake up startled.

Nature does some astonishing things though and the "answer" is going to be something we now think is super natural.

Have a look at these.... Warning science.

The universe seems to be a far far stranger place than anything with ghosts, goblins or +=*s (not allowed to talk about those ) dreamt up by man.

Re: Human presence

The mention of noises reminded me, the ELISSA (Barque rigged ship) is rumored to have some mischevious super natural guests. You sometimes here odd noises that sound like somone moving around the vessel or conversation...a bit odd when you are the only one aboard.

Ive slept aboard many nights at dock with no one else aboard and heard such noises, but never seen anything.

One Hand for Yourself, One for the Ship. The Essentials of Single Handed Sailing is the name of the book.

While some of his books are written a little more tongue in cheek, this one is more of an instructional manual. It can be a little dry, but he sure knew how to get around with as little risk as possible.
