Friendly Californians, even the sea lions

This was on the local Sacramento news tonight, thought I would share. Kinda like the friendly feral pigs. Share your stories on marine life encounters, could make for an interesting thread.

Both will make your heart beat.
The second will hear your heart beat.
I'll take the first.

@donradcliffe be careful what you say out loud though. Sea Lions know where you live.

They certainly do, and they are big smelly and loud. They are cool at a distance, but up close fairly dangerous and obnoxious, they always seem to be in a bad mood too.

Are talking Sea Lions, or boat owners on CF?

Re: Friendly Californians, even the sea lions

I don't know the diver, but if you listen to his breathing rate, it was calm and collected, he did everything right, sure luck played into it, but this guy knew what he was doing.

No snuggly animal posts? I think the Sea lion was exhausted, I've had birds take refuge on my boat that clearly didn't act normal, you could walk right up to them and they would sleep, even had one sleep in the salon over night right beside us.
