Flying sail furler
My boat came with an old school, large flying sail furler. For wire luff headsails. Has a top swivel and the trum at the bottom. I used to plug the drum in, then run hte top swivel up va jib halyard up the forestay. This winter I installed a Facnor LX130 on my boat so I took the sail off of that, got bolt rope in, then put it on the Facnor. What can I use this for now? Can I use this without a stay? Just hoist it up with my spare forward halyard with a assym. or something? Or is it time to sell it?
