Deciding on a new sailboat CS 22 or Oday 22

My criteria is by far
#1 trailer launchable boat
#2 weekend cruiser
#2 easy to single sail, or able to single sail

and the rest: stable, fast roomy etc.

I know both of these boats are trailer launchable but never actually beeing involved in launching something this big.

Can it be done on a daily basis ? as in come in the morning go out for the day and put it back on land at night ?
I really want to save some $$ and put this boat in a barn during winter so it being on a trailer is so important and being able to easily launch and retrieve.

Any comments or other suggestions for boats are appreciated. Prior to this I almost purchased a 21 Macgregor, only to stop last minute as ive red reviews mentioning its tiny "masochist", "Spartan" interior.

In googling some images I think they are basically the same boat except

The plumb stern of the CS would be better for me as you get a little more cockpit space for same LOA and the outboard is not hung so far away from the rear of the boat.

The plumb stern means the outboard controls are closer to me when using it.

Single handing is about how the controls are set up. Really not a problem on a boat this small.

Hauling out everyday shouldn't be a drama and with the right trailer should be easy. The only consideration in your launch area - Are there overhead trees and lines that would foul the mast.

Ideally you would step the mast in the parking lot and then launch rather than use the ramp area for stepping - especially a busy ramp.

If hauling out both days over a weekend, I'd hate to have to step and unstep the mast each day.

Both look like nice tidy little boats.

Right, I would keep the boat on the trailer at the marina just not in the water. It costs me about 700$ a season to have it in the "pen" on land. With my 16ft I have it rigged and ready to go, I just take it to the ramp and launch it.
