effect on trades ...

WELL if it's in USA Today then it must be true!

Actually I think we should be more concerned with the effects of "Global Dimming" (and then it's effect on warming) for the trades as the amt of pollutants in the atmo change:

On the brighter side, the NorthWest Passage is opening up, and as the sea level rises there'll be more draft. And plenty of mooring in what used to be coastal cities. "Venice"s all over.
