Aircon???

Greeting...
I tried to get some research done in getting aircon in my 44' yacht. 12 v was discarded very quickly but I'm having trouble finding a solution for aircon I can use moored in a marina (2240v) as well as on remote moorings (generator or of the D2-55 Volvo).
Any advice would be appreciated...

You mean they require more amps than you produce?

A big bank plus Victron PowerAssist may help off grid, but don't expect many hours.

Obviously super-energy efficient units cost more, but that's a better approach than upsizing the genset.

Maybe multiple smaller units, off grid only run one at a time?

Aircon is rarely needed outside of marinas IMO.
