1917 Herreshoff Found in NH

Peter Sterrett of Herreshoff Yacht Sales reports that a previously unknown Buzzards Bay 15 has been discovered near the shores of Lake Winnipesaukee in New Hampshire. Built in 1917 and christened Buccaneer, it is Herreshoff Manufacturing Company hull number 822.

Great boats! Learned to sail on one when I was 16....

Ironically, I believe I saw the one i learned on, Auriga, mounted as tender/toy on a mega yacht a few years ago.
