Where to next?

For the first time I have to make a decision as to where to go next. Before it was easy, from UK - SOUTH! Med didn't appeal so ended up in Canaries. After a year (though did manage a run up to Azores, nice!) time to move on. But can't decide where to. At the mo Caribbean is way ahead in the polls (maybe stop off in Cape Verde) but west africa appeals a lot, Dakar, Gambia and Senegal. Seems a shame not to go visit, but you can't see everywhere. And then across if I head to Caribbean it puts Brazil off the list, one tries to avoid upwind. So anyone been to either West Africa or spent time in Brazil? Please add to my confusion and indecision Or add to it with more possibilities.

I am a Brit who plans to spend the next year in the Caribbean and Central America and then transit the Canal...Just did Canada and my wife threatens to get off the boat if the temperature falls bellow 70 deg F or the wind gets forward of the beam.

Oh, wherever I end up I think it will be that Drifting towards a more philosophical view, one of the advantages of living aboard is less choice! Deal with what you have and enjoy rather than feel the maybe if you bought Y rather than X life would be somehow better. The power of advertising is remarkable. Anyway, before too long the anchor shall be well dug in somewhere warm and peaceful. Just not quite sure where until I get there
