Cheapest haulout inside the cape, or south?

looking for a haulout for a chance to update the bottom paint.
i can find $10 a foot, well, anywhere, is there a boatyard that does it for less? i would think there has to be a discount boatyard somewhere.
north Florida perhaps?

We used to careen our mono by using the spinnaker halyard attached to an anchor placed well out on the beam. It just sat on its keel.

No extra keel needed.

Although, one night my better half farted in bed and we fell over towards the anchor. You might want to watch that! Or put another anchor out the other side, halyard to a tree, etc if you have a powerful farter aboard.

She still blames me for the fact that we spent the night sleeping on the cabin wall.....

If you go down the Cheasapeake there are lots of boat yards to choose from. You could check on active captain....they are listed there with phone numbers. And email if they have it. Many also list how much tonnage they can haul.

Most of the time you have to pay for haul out....yard storage, while you do the work....and then for them to put you back in the water. Unfortunately the bigger the boat the more you pay.

Don't know which cape you're talking about but I think the cheapest place in Florida is Green Cove Springs.

Checkout yards in Deltaville VA. They will probably come in under $10/foot, but not dramatically.

These two are pretty reasonable. I've hauled at Playboy several times.

Green Cove Springs Marina - The Cruiser's Homeport
Rates - Playboy Marine

St. Marys Boat Services was $8.50 to haul and block but they have raised their rates since I hauled there this time last year.
