Panama is nortoriously expensive when it comes to shipping through Fed Ex or UPS. We paid a $535 FedEx fee to ship an alternator down to Colon in February.

Unless you need this immediately, why not wait and use a Freight Forwarder from Miami to Panama via Cargo Container.

The advantage is you only pay for you portion of the space in the container and the Panamanian Customs Inspection fee is spread equally between the shippers.
