Hey Ben.

Osirissail answered the questions about how best to get into GT harbor, the south entrance being deeper. One of the new marinas north of GT is called Emerald Bay but I have never been in there. A good stop further south is Flying Fish marina at Clarance Town Long Island. I am pretty sure you can get in there with your draft and it's a great little town.

The only new marinas I know in and around Georgetown, Great Exuma are:

Bahamas Marina at Emerald Bay: Luxury Boat Harbor for Yachts & Sailboats in The Exumas

and Bahamas Yacht Clubs: Crab Cay Great Exuma George Town Elizabeth Harbour Village Caribbean Islands area real estate residential vacations villas homes houses homesites sales private tropical beaches ports spas developments communities Sedona resorts b

Google Earth shows where they have dredged out Crab Cay for the new resort/marina. But considering how things go in the Bahamas, they may have never finished the place yet.
