4-8 week lease of sailboat in the Caribbean

Hi All:

We missed out on Bojangles offer earlier on leasing his boat...so here goes

We are looking for a 34 to 44 foot sailboat to lease for February and March of this year. We can also do just one month if things work better that way. We're looking for a boat in good condition, can be a cat as well. Barbeque, chartplotter, nice galley. We pretty much live in the cockpit on our boat....so a nice sized cockpit would be nice...

So.....if you can't use your boat this year, would like to have it well taken care of, would like to make a few bucks....reasonable rates would sure be appreciated...let's talk. We plan on retiring and living the dream down there in 2 years, and a 2 month stint to get a taste/feel for things is in order. I am pretty handy, can change filters, troubleshoot/repair most issues, not green or a newby by any means.

I can be contacted @ gunkylumpathotmail.com

Thanks!

gunk

You might try this place. On another travel forum there were some very satisfied clients.

You are welcome. I'd be curious to hear about whoever you end up using. I just can't figure out the math for being able to keep the costs as low as the ones I saw posted on their website.

Spent 3 weeks aboard longtermcharters flagship Seabbatical, a 45' leopard cat in 2012. Part of a friend's 6 week charter. It was the most inexpensive cat we've leased in the BVI . Also the oldest, at 11 years at the time. All that being said, it was a fine boat. Recently repowered and the coldest fridge freezer ever. We did spend time fixing a few minor issues, heads , the bracket for the freezer compessor pulley , leaky portlights, but there were lots of spare parts and tools aboard and it never interfered too much with having fun!
Ron Bokefor(sp?), the owner of the company , is easy to communicate with and easily has the best deal in the BVI's.
Good luck in your search
