Re: yacht adrift found

That's it, I'm going to begin "salvaging" boats instead of working my ass off. This way I could sail year round, and still have money to spare.

Now, where to buy that fast tug boat.

Naah... just need a mate who can single hand a sailboat...
and if your gonna be poodling round an area for a while looking for the latest 'Recovery' keep the costs down and sail..
decent motor in it and you'll be fine if anything needs towing..

oh great one, tell us how , in 140,million square miles of uninhabited water you , of all people, know where there all are. Im seriously impressed, you wouldnt have tonight's lottery numbers by any chance too.. ( ill split it with you so you can get the tug!)

It was a joke, because there seems to be an influx of abondoned or lost boats (and a ship, no less) recently. I'm obviously not going to sail around and hoping for the best. I'm actually quite happy with what I do for a living.

Edit: You seem to constantly snatch on to my posts to make a point against something I didn't say, or, in this case, taking something that is very obviously a joke and try to make the point that I was actually serious. It has already gotten old.

Will do... passing CA, SA and SY... 3 nice big islands.. got a bit of a blow moving through tomorrow and Sat in the Golfe de Leon moving SE along the coast.. looks good from Sunday on... sea's will still be lumpy.. but dropping to Med motoring weather further S early next week..
But we all know how reliable that is... should be a good sail..

Re: yacht adrift found

It's easy enough: get a tugboat, party in the East Carib and just wait for the hurricanes to bring you the jobs.

I saw one salvage 14 boats on one day !!
