These are warm light and very bright 470 lumen's, 6 watts. Makes a great cabin light for $9 ea. Roughly 9" x 5" and about 1-1/4" deep, surface mount. I am very happy with these. I was so happy, I just ordered another two. It's all plastic but has a current regulator IC, so life should be pretty good.
I replaced all of my cabin & nav lights including steaming deck flood and anchor for about $120 from LEDLights.com
The nav lights meet USCG 2nm requirements too
They were most helpful in matching base sizes & types as well

I don't know if these have been linked to before, but they work fine in a fridge / freezer

Re: LED cabin Lights for the Furgal Sailor

I wound up retrofitting all my older style marine lights with a 10 pack of G4 fixture bases I picked up for about 2$. For the LED I used a 10-30v variable voltage G4 style warm white LED chip I got off eBay for about 15$ for 20 of them. The spec says it puts out about 525 lumens, and I don't doubt it, So far it's one of the best things I've done to the boat. I attached a couple picks of the fixtures, the LED's and the boat interior with the lights on, if those don't come through I'll post the link below too.

Actually three of my lamps had a second switch for a red light, I just wired a second G4 socket into them and taped a red gel filter over the led's. I can light up the chart table, the companion way hatch, and the head with red light if needed

I do like marine beam though, I got my photo sensitive anchor light thru them, really nice stuff.
