Energy Ball

This looks interesting. Does anyone have any more knowledge about this wind generator design for a marine application?

Those look great. I wonder if they really are quieter than the wind?

I saw a show on the Discovery channel about inflatable windmills that are suspended 300' in the air. La Princessa looked over my shoulder and commented "wouldn't that be a great thing for a boat? A kite sail that charges the batteries."
She's a keeper!

These specs show a bit more detail:

Look at the audible rating

For those who use wind generators how does the 1m footprint compare in power generated?

30kg is manageable

This site was interesting for comparisons
