Water maker placement

I'm installing a water maker and looking for ideas on the best place to put it. Do you plumb it to both tanks or run a garden hose? I will be able to run off the inverter as long as the engines or gen are running.

Re: Water maker placement

I plumbed mine into the tank vent lines with a T. The watermaker output is low enough that the tank still vents fine.

Re: Water maker placement

I plumbed it to one tank, then added a short connection from the main pressurized water system to other tank via a ball valve. When making water you can then transfer from the water maker side to the other as required and the house pump will transfer it quicker than you can make it. To connect to tank I found some undrilled spigots molded into the top of the tanks.
