L450 newbie video - Lagoon in rough sea experience

Reading lots of great stories from Lagoon owners (L450 or others), from the luckiest ones already cruising around the world to the most recent (DaveinDubai !), it became so unbearable that we had to do something about it.
Only a few hours glimpse of the boat, but during a fun day and in an amazing sailing area.

It is for sure a really cool boat. I don't recall ever being in >25knts of wind and be seated in the cockpit area without noticing how much blow we were facing (ok, flat pond helps, next step is to try something with few meters surge and double the TWS).

To all Lagoon owners, please keep bringing the stories, life style and technical!
And as this is a forum due for Q&A, I’m curious what you (Lagoon 4xx owners) have faced with your boat in very rough conditions (and what you have done with the F!@#$%^g lazy jacks and cover ;-)

Thank you to all!

We have written about our experiences in gale (Indian Ocean) and storm (East Thailand) conditions in our blog Aroundoceans with SV Emerald Sea. And all the good weather in between! In general the 450 is capable seaworthy cat when handled properly. Its essential that you reef down before the seabirds start flying into the lee of the sails! Our various preps and mods have also been documented in the blog.

The 450 is an enjoyable livaboard craft.

Thanks in advance
