Hey Arty, sorry I can't offer my services for the crossing, as I'm already across--on Oahu, but was wondering what your destination was, as I'm looking for a position on a boat heading the other direction some time this fall.

Hi Arty,

I'd be interested in possibly joining you across the Pacific, if you're still looking for crew. I have some sailing experience, but no open water experience. I recently retired from the Air Force and hoped to crew with someone to get a little open water experience before I consider going back to work.

I'm a non-smoker, physically fit, very active, comfortable around boats, mechanically inclined, willing to help with all aspects of caring for the boat, and very eager to learn. I'm a private pilot, and have taken some coastal navigation courses, so I'm very good with navigation, and would look forward to helping with any of the charting, navigating, etc.

Please let me know if you'd like to talk further. I'd be glad to give you my cell number or email, and am available on Skype as well.

Thanks,
Scott
