Looking To Short Term Volunteer - Located in Toronto

Hello,

I spent a week in St. Vincent & Grenadines living on a sailboat and learning how to sail. I have my ASA 101 & 103. I'm available for short term deliveries over the summer.

Re: Looking To Short Term Volunteer - Located in Toronto

Thought I'd add a couple things about myself.

I'm in my mid-40's, married, with older children. I'm a non-smoker and I'm okay with a dry voyage. My eyesight is 20/20 (tested just last week) but I do sometimes need cheaters for reading.

I worked in solar power until I sold my share of the company and am now semi-retired. So yes, I do know a thing or two about electrical systems. I also know a thing or two about responsibility.

I'm in great shape as I've been training hard lately.

I can cook, but I'm not a great cook. I tend toward a bachelor lifestyle when left to my own methods. Though I do like to keep myself and my things clean.

I'm really just looking for more sailing experience as I hope to own my own sailboat someday soon. I've been around motorboats most of my life.

If you are interested in joining me, you would have to send me a resume, and 2 references. i am not so interested in your sailing skills but your character. Sailing basics I can teach you.

That's a little more money than I wanted to spend helping someone out.

And, frankly, I'd be more than a little leery spending money on a flight to Miami when this is your 6th time posting about this trip in the last 6 months and had, at least at one point, enough crew for the trip.
