Crew Wanted: Delivery Skipper Wanted. Trip Spain to Perth Western Australia (WA)

I am negotiating on buying a 1990 42 ft Wauquiez Centurion. So a very sound blue water boat.
I want to move her from her present location in Barcelona, Spain to Perth Western Australia (WA). My sister lives in WA and I want a base. I live in Norfolk, England.
Although I have sailed for a number of years this trip is beyond my experience. I have taken early retirement so can complete the trip but need an experienced delivery skipper.
Am thinking with her present location that a trip heading east through the Suez Canal would be strong possibility but need advice on best time for passage and route.
Would like Delivery Skippers who have completed the trip from the Med to WA to contact me with cost please ?

Done it across the Pacific.. would consider it via S Africa.. maybe.. but Suez no way..
What ever.. its a Fall/winter start

You might have insurance problems going through Suez. The piracy issue still looms large in Insurers' minds. (and, although much reduced, it is still there)

Otherwise, as Boatie says, to which I would add that the Pacific route is preferable (since to get round Africa you've got to get across practically to Brazil anyway, so you will have almost done a transat anyway. There's also a heck of a lot more to see and its a trip you'd probably only do once in your lifetime....Tony

I also would not do Suez. Would consider around Africa then across. E-mail me if interested.

Go west thru Panama with the NE winds. If you go Africa you will be motoring from Senegal to almost home. At least 90% headwind.
Or; Put her on a ship from Genoa, Italy to Oman or something thru Suez.
