Able crewman and video creation

Hello Sailors,

This is an attempt to trade my services for a place on board your vessel. I have a video marketing business that needs clients in order to build a portfolio. I see this as an opportunity for me to build a portfolio while gaining sailing experience.

The benefit for you would be video documentation of your adventures and add a helpful member for your crew.

I have been on freshwater boats my entire life, fishing, repairing, and everything else. I am a college graduate with degree in geography focusing on geographic information systems (GIS). I know how to make a map, use a chart, etc… I also have a load of useful technology that may interest you. A new Canon DSLR for video, a drone for aerial video, go pro, mac laptop for video editing. I could see how making a weekly video blog about the trip could be a good way to generate some crowd funding, if that is something that interests you.

I am 28 in great shape. Smart and fast learner, a hard worker with good ethics. I have long dreamed of a sailing and would jump at the opportunity to learn and help. I can fix just about anything and enjoy a good challenge.

I know the lack of sailing experience is a big negative but I have nothing to lose, nothing tying me down, and a wealth of skills that can be useful as a crew member. I also can make a good cup of coffee. Oh and I’m pretty well traveled so home sickness is not a problem.

Thanks for the consideration,

Kris Anderson
