Perkins 4-108 marine engine w/ Borg Warner 2.5:1 71 series transmission.
Good running takeout has approx. 2500 hours on it. Recent work: new front and rear crankshaft seals and most gaskets replaced, valve adj. , heat exchanger dipped, new impeller, belt, spring plate. Fresh paint, oil and coolant. Last 15 yrs. service records. Engine is located in Norfolk,VA. Can ship. $3000.00

About the Perkins-- Is it out of the boat now? Has it been bench tested/ ran since out of the boat? Does it smoke? Leak oil?

The engine is out of the boat and ready to go. I have run it for 1/2 hour since the work was done. Had an oil weep at the transmission selector valve and replaced the O ring. There is no exhaust smoke. I can e mail photos if you send your e mail address.
