Buy yourself 2 end fittings from West Marine or Defender, or whatever is your local chandlery (or from Mauri Pro's excellent on-line chandlery). Source a length of tube from a local aluminium supplier... fit the ends with rivets.... Bob's yer Uncle...

I have 18'2" X 4 1/2" D forespar spinnaker pole. I also have a toggle car for mounting pole at front of mast. This pole is on my boat in a marina in Baltimore that you can easily tie up to - to take a look. I'll sell it for the price of all 3 fittings.
