The watermaker is in South Florida The owner is looking for $6000 as it is new for $10500.

It is 5 years old. Owner spent $2000 on it last spring and hasn't used it since.

Thanks .... I'll pass it on to my husband. He is the Captain. I'm just the Admiral with all the opinions. It's an honorary position, subject to revocation at any time, I'm certain.

Not if the Captain wishes to keep his vessel...

I see you're a commercial member. Does this unit come with any kind of warrantee?

This unit does not come with any warranty unless we install it.
We have new units that will come with warranty regardless.

Re: Spectra Watermaker NP MKII 400

I would think installing a step-down transformer would be less trouble then reinstalling a whole new unit.

I'd like to have it but way too big a unit for my consumption.
