Seattle Slip Sublet

Hello friends, just got word of a six week job in Seattle beginning about August 20. I would love to bring the Ariel down to stay on. Any temp. slips? I would like nice ameneties OR very funky. Thanks!

Re: Seattle Slip Sublet

I might be able to sublet my slip at Shilshole Bay...I need to check the length and get back to you...my boat is a 37 but I believe the slip is 40'.

Any chance you'll need it for longer?

Re: Seattle Slip Sublet

There are often sublets in Shilshole Bay Marina. I lived aboard there for 3 years by moving around every 4-6 months! (In the summer some long term slip holders move their boats North closer to BC and the San Juans...)

I would be interested in a mooring buoy somewhere in the sound- well protected and stout. Someone with a mooring in front of their home would be ideal . Anyone interested ?

I think if you bring Ariel down you'll find something. Even the drdive from Everett to Seattle is only about 20-25 mins or so...

Re: Seattle Slip Sublet

Thanks for the responses,Shilshole would be ideal, though my Ariel is only 26'. I will be working long hours so close in is best for me.

Email the marina and ask for the list of available sublets. They have a spreadsheet they print out and hang on the wall, and when I need a sublet years ago they also would email it.
