Icom 706 MkIIG, At-130 Tuner and Pactor III

We purchased this Icom new in late 2006 and the Pactor III new in early 2007. The Pactor has the USB cable included. We used it with our laptops for just under 2 years while cruising in Mexico and found the Pactor great for email etc. But we don't really need it any longer for cruising BC.

The radio shop set up the Icom to transmit and receive on marine frequencies as well as HAM. A number of the net controllers in Mexico, as well as Don Anderson ("Summer Passage"), often commented on our strong signal. Our oldest Daughter earned her HAM license at age 12 and she is the only HAM in the family! But next year she is off to university and this will go to her education fund.

I prefer to sell as a unit but will consider breaking it up. Everything is in top condition. Price for the unit is $1,900 CAD or equivalent in USD at bank rate. I am willing to ship where ever the buyer is located. Please pm any questions and I will attempt to answer them. Thanks!

SSB

Hi, do you still have your SSB items? We used to keep our boat at April Point! Small world. We're now in Victoria and in need of a SSB system as we head to Mexico soon.

Thanks for a reply.

Hi Kathy; It is a small world; we keep our Truant 37 in Heriot Bay!. Unfortunately, the SSB and Pactor are probably sold. But one never knows until the deal is complete so I will let you know if the sale does not work out.

We spent almost 2 years sailing in Mexico with our 2 young daughters, so if you're up this way, give us a shout and we can share what experience we have. Also, we still have some cruising guides that we would sell for a reasonable price.
