Thumbs up Ericson 30 Plus for Sale

We bought our new big baby and sadly have to let this one go, please check out this great deal, she's extremely clean and ready to sail.

Simply a joy to sail, this 1984 Ericson 30 Plus was designed by Bruce King as you can tell by her beautiful lines. This super clean, proper sailboat is fun to sail and sails to weather like it was on a track. She is fast and comfortable and easy to single hand from docking to setting and reefing sails.

The well kept interior is teak. Galley, nav station, head w/shower, convertible settee, Vberth can sleep 6. Mid boom sheeting, Harken roller furler, adjustable back stay, whisker pole, main sail very good condition, jib good condition, and gorgeous spinnaker.

VHF, CD, Hand held GPS, stainless steel exterior grill, bimini, dodger, full sun awning, good canvas, new halyards. Three danforth anchors with chain and nylon rode. Additional custom teak station holds GPS, cups and more with attached folding table in cockpit.

All systems are checked and maintained with a log kept of all upgrades, repairs and preventative maintenance performed. This boat has new motor mounts, rebuilt starter motor, rebuilt injectors, new engine control panel with gauges, new wiring, rebuilt oil pump, rebuilt head, new sound proofing, and redundant primary fuel filters. Power is by a Universal M20 16hp diesel inboard, completely overhauled in 2006.

LOA: 30’ LWL: 25’4 Beam: 10’6
Displacement: 9000 Draft: 4’ Ballast: 4000

Just Reduced to $25,900

**This boat also includes an easy to get to transferable slip in old Panama City away from the crowds for $224/month including water, electric and brand new docks! Easy sail to Shell Island and to the Gulf. Don't you want your home port to be 'Smuggler's Cove'?

Please contact me here for more info and photos (I'm much better on the PC ) or contact Ed with any questions, estrong@newnanutilities.org

Thanks Reb, she was a blast, we always outsailed everyone in the bay! My fav thing was chasing the dolphins, she can turn on a dime I guess she just isn't in Singapore <sigh>, lol, how can one compete?? I am hoping the low price of her slip will be as inviting as 'Smuggler's Cove' for her addy--we could gaze at this gorgeous pirate ship from our cockpit--where else could the Midnight Princess be docked? That boat is really awesome, we had a private tour.

Now if we can just start to get our Tartan Tock refitted in some teak (someone please buy our Ericson!) She is no Hans Christian, but boy is she sturdy! Ed couldn't believe how flat and well she sailed the IC in a light breeze. We know she won't sail as fast and easy like the Good Hope, but we do hope to sail the world.

Del, Thanks for all your help here. Do you know of a reason why the Ericson Plus is never distinguished from the other Ericson 30's? I have yet to hear from the Ericson folks.

If you had that for sale here in Aus for that price you would be beating buyers away with a stick.
