Diesel Fuel Polishing System

This unit works as follows: fuel in tank is drawn up thru screen filter, thru Racor, thru 30 gph 12v fuel pump and back to the tank. The Racor is an older model #500, tubing is clear in order to observe fuel quality. The fuel pump is equipped with a 5' cord and accessory plug. I have a spare 10 mill filter that I will include. The only thing you will need is a probe(length of tubing to reach the bottom of your tank. If buyer will allow for slight disassembly, I will ship prepaid to any us address (lower 48) for $250.00

Essentially then, you're just re-filtering the fuel? Kind of like having two fuel filters on your engine? Where does the polishing come in?

As he says in the first sentence.."fuel in tank is drawn up thru screen filter, thru Racor, thru 30 gph 12v fuel pump and back to the tank" I almost missed it myself.
