For Sale: Complete Running Perkins Prima M80T Turbo Diesel Engine w/Transmission

This engine was removed from a sailboat because the owner wanted more power. I serviced it, hooked up and test ran for one hour. It started instantly, no smoke, water or oil leaks, ran smoothly 60PSI oil pressure and gear box shifted easily. It's located in Pensacola, FL and I will run it for you in person or can take a video if you are not local. I can deliver or have it shipped. It's an easy starting, lightweight (495 pounds), four cylinder, turbo charged, 79 HP diesel boat engine with Hurth 2-1 redux gearbox. I test ran for one hour, cleaned and painted.

Interested. Can you provide dimensions for the skid that it is mounted on in the photos to give a ball park idea if it will work for my refit application? Also a height above the skid.

24" from the bottom of the mount to the highest point on the engine.

Mounts are 18" center to center fore & aft

Mounts are 19" center to center port/starboard

Front of engine to rear of transmission is 35"

Engine is 22" at its widest point

Bottom of oil pan is 4" below the base of the mounts

The frame it sits on is 24" fore & aft, 21.5" port/starboard for the mounts.
