For Sale: Cape Dory 30 Ketch

We are selling our Cape Dory 30 which we have enjoyed sailing all around New England. The boat is currently located in Gloucester, MA and available for viewing. The spring prep work is now complete and the boat is ready to go in the water at any time. This particular boat is the ketch model which is identical to the cutter in all ways except for the rig. The ketch is a very maneuverable rig which balances beautifully and makes the boat very fast on a reach as well as being extremely easy to singlehand thanks to the inherent balance and ease of heaving-to. The ketch is also the only Cape Dory in this size range which can carry an 8.5’ dinghy on deck which is a huge advantage. We had a Volvo certified mechanic go over the engine this spring and it was given a clean bill of health. We are motivated sellers and would be excited to talk to anyone who might be interested in this boat.

She is a beautiful boat. I really wish I could afford her, looks like she would be great to sail around the world on. In 1year I can buy her unless you do payments
