Transparency of LOPs

Hi,

Question:

I am using OCPN cel nav plugin feature to plot my LOP rather than a traditional plotting sheet. However, the LOPs show up as a solid band of color instead of a transparent band, no matter of where I slide the transparency widget. It is therefore hard to eyeball a best location for my fix. I am running the latest version of OCPN on a new Dell windows laptop. Everything else works fine.

Does anyone have an idea how to make the lines transparent? (I can configure the color)

what are your settings at Options|Display|Advanced for OpenGL?

If not enabled you might change this.

(LOP = Line of position)

Thanks so much! That fixed it. Of course I don't understand any of the programming, but choosing the option for "Accelerated Graphics" (that unchecks "Use Transparent Toolbar") fixed the issue.

Now I can see all LOPs superimposed on each other, in their different colors, making them more or less transparent as needed, and decide where the average center point is. Makes all the difference in being able to use this feature accurately. Nice.
