OpenSeaMap on OpenCPN

Looking for some Caribbean charts I stumbled across OpenSeaMap.

They have a Caribbean package, free download. It's kinda cool especially for planning as you can see huge chunks of the Caribbean and all the tiny little islands you never heard of stand out. But I seem to have a problem with it.

I seem only get normal road information. There are all kinds of boxes where you would expect to see more detailed chart info but they don't open up. So I get the feeling there is info there I'm just not seeing.

Anyone here with experience in this?

I've tried them for known waters in the Baltic. The maps are good enough for overview and maybe entering big harbors where big fairways have correct marks, lights and light sectors. But details and marks for small boats, like us and fisherman, are often missing as well as some light sectors for small harbors.
And - Neither soundings nor depth curves as can be read at there's home page.
But there are more shore information like streets and buildings than on a normal sea chart. So once moored they can be handy but rather limited to trust as the main navigational base.
I think all detailed maps are opened but lacks information.
