Using a magnetic puck GPS on the car top/window and the laptop on your knees,you can navigate on a Google Map converted to .kap format.

You will need to purchase a Universal power supply unit you plug in to your car lighter socket. In Brazil just US$ 18.-

Just to let you know the Universal power supply arrived today and I took OpenCPN for a spin around the neighbourhood. All worked very well and the charger did it´s job.
Very useful also when I take it for a sea voyage,plugging it in to the on board 12v or 120v supply.
