Logbook Konni for OpenCPN

Hi all,

Sorry about the delay once again, I'm back on my feet now after being off for a while with a virus.

I have now pushed out a 1.2010 release on github that includes ptulp's latest patch for wind direction. Note that you will need to delete the Textblocks.xml file that you will find in your logbook data directory after installing this release.

Contribution of binaries and test results on platforms other than Linux appreciated.

I haven't see the plugin (compil) for windows on github to test it on my pc. Where can i find it ?

Hi,

I don't have a windows compile environment and so the compiled plugin for windows is usually made by someone else who sends it to me and then I upload it.

Unfortunately I only have a small windows partition with not enough space for compilers, etc.

So if you wait a few days it should be there.

Hi Jon,

I have added this file to the 1.2010 release. In the interim there is now a 1.2011 release so if you could build for that too please it would be great.

Can someone please provide me with a MacOS build?

I tested the automatic input into the logbook of the "new" nmea sentences yesterday, and I works. I would like to have "true wind direction" instead of "true wind angle" which I would find more useful when following the development off weather conditions.

When I try to go in to update the opencpnplugins files on sourceforge I get error 403 -- admin access required.

Lars,

If you change in the Logbook preferences "Winddirection set to:" from default to Heading, then TWA will be True Wind Direction.
Unfortunately at this moment also AWA changes which it should not.
That will be changed in the next version.
