Charts for Android

Attended a good webinar on OpenCPN from SevenSeasU last night. Appreciate the introduction to what appears to be a really phenomenal program!!

I have successfully installed the Android version on my Sony Experia tablet (which I love!) and see in the options page that the Chartdownloader plugin is installed, but I can't figure out how to use it. There is no icon on the top taskbar.

Any help?

Also, is there separate documentation for the Android version?

(Not what you ask about) BUT this potentially helpful too: OpenCPN takes (ia) BSB charts and these you can create from scans and screen dumps too.

Open OPTIONS->CHARTS

On the right tab is the chart downloader.

If you don't see the chartdownloader tab under OPTIONS->CHARTS to to OPTIONS->PLUGINS and make sure the chart downloader plugin is "ENABLED". It should be enabled by default.
