Can't select text in Object Query

Hi there,

I have a bit of a weird one. I want to copy the position of a buoy. I know this used to work because I prepared the sailing instructions for a race copying the positions of buoys from the Object Query window.
When try this in 4.4.0, the text select mouse pointer is shown but I can't select anything.

Running OpenCPN 4.4.0 on Ubuntu 16.04 x64

Any ideas why this might be? Or is it supposed to be like this?

You are right. It used to work on Linux, but it has not, as far as I can remember, been an "official" feature. Trough the years there have been a few requests for this from Windows users. The copying has never worked on Windows.
I'm not sure why it's not working on Linux now, and I don't know when it stopped working.
If this is important for you, please enter a feature request in the tracker.

It was possible to select and copy text from the Object Query with Windows and earlier versions of OpenCPN.

Here is a screen shot of text highlighted in OpenCPN 4.0.0 and pasted into Windows 10 WordPad.
