BUG with opencpn.org website times out.

Hello - I wasn't able to find "the right" place to report this problem so hopefully someone would be so kind as to forward it.

I have twice experienced opencpn.org get into connection timeouts that will last a few days and then return to normal. I experience this problem clicking through the documentation links.

If someone that has responsibility for opencpn.org can contact me I will provide further information. In summary using different IP addresses I have shown it not to be a computer/browser issue. I suspect some request on the server gets stuck and there is no response to the requesting ip address until that problem gets routinely cleared.

HT, The OpenCPN manual has has some problems lately, and I have been configuring it and trying to get all the features working properly. Perhaps you were on the manual.
I know that there has also been some recent webmaster activity on the main opencpn.org website as well.

Yes indeed on the OpenCPN manual. Twice - last Saturday, and the weekend before. Works fine today - so far!

I'm back to having timeout problems on Opencpn.org when connecting from IP address 198.84.238.142 - hopefully something will show up in the logs.

I was again looking in the documentation on the weekend.

HT Sorry, but there must be some security trigger on the server. I and others have experienced this, and sometimes I need to wait several days for the pages to appear.

I had no problem accessing a link he posted, so not sure if it is user/IP/time/cookie specific.

Rick, That is what I experience - locked out (technically a time out) for days like it's stuck trying to service a request and will do nothing else for me. It does follow the IP address - switching WANs (and therefore my IP) will allow me back in (but I don't have unlimited BP on the switched IP so that is not a long term solution). I have cleared the cache and tried from an incognito browser from the same original IP (to rule out cookies) and it's still stuck. I'm forming a sense that it occurs when I'm quickly going in and out of topics looking for information.
