I am writing a full manual for MX Mariner a la Seaclear Unleashed and Marine Charts Unleashed. For your information John Thorn has modified mapc2mapc to work with MX Mariner. His batch process creates chart areas as a gemf file and a zdat file. Works great with Ge2kap to have google earth marine charts working offline the inputs don't need to be KAP - you can use WCI, GEOPDFs and many others. This should expand the scope of MX Mariner to be able to convert from a wide range of chart sources you may have. Another site, venture farther will convert Bing images to kap. Usefull when the google image is out of date. The tiling is a manual process at moment but the developers have provided access to the api so plugins can be developed Auto tiling and kap creation would be great Hint Hint.
