You say that Windows thinks that ownship.xpm is a doc file?
Darn Windows for always hiding the true file extensions in explorer.

Open a dos box, and do a dir listing of the UserIcons directory.
Maybe you will see something unexpected....

...oooooh.you mean windose is protecting you from seeing your file extensions? That'd explain it.

In XP
Goto Start,Control Panel,Folder Options,the "View" tab, and UNcheck "Hide extensions for known file types".


That'd be a "doh" on my part.I forget what the default windoze really is..

This is for telling you that we have been able to change the boat for the ship of Paul and also it works ok with the GPS. Both system Windows XP and Widows 7. Nevertheless, I still thing that one of you should make a plugin for allowing change in the ship dimension (lenght and breadth).
It is probably one of the only thing missing for making a valuable piece of work. Congradulations for the rest of it.
