Std Horizon HX870 Time

I've a new HX870 with the time setup with Offset = -8, Area = Local. I'm in the pacific time zone. Since Daylight savings time hit, the radio is showing the time one hour off.

Is there a way this radio should work with DST or do I need to manually change the offset each time?
