Quantum - wired or wireless?

Hello. Last year I bought a Raymarine a98. This year I'm adding an a75 and Quantum radar. Both MFDs will be on the bridge and the radome is on a mast at the aft end of the bridge. It is about 8 feet away from the MFDs with only the bimini in the way. The bimini is almost always collapsed, like it is in the picture below.

My question is, is there any risk in getting the wifi only Quantum radome or should I just get the wired solution?

FWIW, wifi from the MFD on the bridge worked flawlessly to the ipad at the lower steering station last season.

Many thanks....
