Wired Magazine / America's Cup 72s
Wired magazine has a great article on the Americas Cup 72's. It's written from the perspective of a non-sailor so the general public can understand. The article does describe why these boats will be the most intense and potentially dangerous catamarans ever sailed. It also describes a number of other things that I don't know has been written about as of yet.
Great TV prog the other night. Those Cats are so exciting to watch, capsizes, collisions, and rounding marks at 45knots in a very tight bay. Great stuff, great racing, and still the same few crews seen to lead every race. Very competitive stuff and far more interesting than mono's IN MY VIEW.
