NMEA ports on Standard Horizon CPN700i ACC1

Is it possible to use all three NMEA ports on ACC1 cable of the Standard Horizon CPN700i for input?

In other words I would like to provide DSC information on port 1, FF525 fish finder information on port 2, and AIS information on port 3. The DSC and AIS information are coming from the Standard Horizon GX2200 VHF radio.

Pin 8, Port 3 is really the question. As port 3 is only showing output, can I get either AIS or DSC to come in to port 3? This would save running an extra cable to ACC2.

According to the manual.

Pin 1 Black - Ground
Pin 2 Red - Battery Positive
Pin 3 Green - Common (ground for NMEA devices)
Pin 4 Blue - Port 1 input
Pin 5 Brown - Port 1 output
Pin 6 Grey - Port 2 input
Pin 7 White - Port 2 output
Pin 8 Yellow - Port 3 output

no but you only need one port for the radio. dsc and ais should be coming out one port if you pick high speed

Aha, that sounds promising.

Thanks I'll give it a try.

Re: NMEA ports on Standard Horizon CPN700i ACC1

If you want, I can look at mine when I get to my boat Fri morning. It's the exact setup I have on mine. There was a good youtube video I used as a starting point, I'll post in a sec. It did come in handy to write out the colors for each.

They are all on ACC1 though, not two. The FF525 box has a T connector that the ACC1 plug feeds through into the back of the plotter. I'm going up for the weekend though, and if you need, I can check it there, and see if I can post from my phone to update.

Edit: this was the video I started with, even though it's not identical to what we've got. But it was a good starting view for me, to get an idea of what I was looking for.
