Icom M801E - test in Hobart

I have just acquired an icon 801E SSB with AT141 antenna controller in used condition. I currently have no microphone (working on it) or antenna...
Can anyone recommend a way to test this in the Hobart, Tasmania area?
Alternatively, does anybody have a similar set up on board who would be willing to help test our gear in a plug and play environment?
I do plan to send the items to icom for a service, but hoped to perform some basic checks in the mean time.
Our boat is overseas and we are several months away from returning on board.
